Community Scores

Community scores operate on a 1–5 scale, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. All results are based on statistics from MLS®, the City of Edmonton Open Data Catalogue, and other sources.

A high Homes score means you’ll find a lot of available real estate listings in that neighbourhood.
A high Family score means you’ll be close to schools and playgrounds, and everything is within walking and transit distance.
A high Safety score means bylaw violations and traffic accident rates are low, and you’ll be close to emergency services.
A high Recreation score means you’ll be close to sports and recreation areas.
A high Lifestyle score means you’ll be close to shopping and entertainment.

Bonnie Doon

The heart of the Franco-Albertan community, Bonnie Doon’s mature neighborhood is home for 4 of the 8 Paul Blais Realty Group’s team members. It’s also the team’s stomping grounds in terms of real estate transactions. Whether it’s a vacant lot, infill development or an established single family residence, the Paul Blais Realty Group knows Bonnie Doon inside and out.

Bonnie Doon’s development is still under way due to the neighbourhood’s attractive central location and relatively permissive residential zoning. The bulk of the neighbourhood is zoned RF3—low-density infill zone—which provides the opportunity for single-family and duplex housing while allowing some apartment housing up to four units. As original structures are being replaced, most residential redevelopment is infill projects.

A south-central neighborhood with one of Edmonton’s first shopping centres – Bonnie Doon Mall, the Bonnie Doon community extends North, nearly to the North Saskatchewan River, South to Whyte Avenue and West to the Mill Creek Ravine.

The Bonnie Doon Community League is extremely active and is well supported by members of the neighborhood and the Paul Blais Realty Group. If you are looking for real estate in Bonnie Doon or homes for sale in Bonnie Doon, call the Paul Blais Realty Group – We know BONNIE DOON! c’est notre coin!
